This concert marks a world-wide first: VenMundi is breaking down geographic barriers to make this rare show available to fans around the world by streaming the concert live, and on-demand, around the globe on sale now for $10 advance through www.venmundi.com . This is the first public demonstration of VenMundi's patented capabilities.
VenMundi was created when software developer and entertainer Ron Parks was traveling in London, listening to Jazz artists in numerous clubs. He reflected on how great it was to hear the music and how sad it was that the world could not be there. With the new capabilities in streaming and technology, he wanted to provide a way for the artists to reach fans wherever they are, whenever they want it on their desktop, laptop computers, home entertainment systems and mobile devices.

Ron Parks, VenMundi Founder explains, "VenMundi lets musicians reach their fans live and in- person, and simultaneously via streaming video on the Internet, with a level of visual quality and audio clarity rarely found online. Better still; fans can soon queue up concerts from their favorite artists on-demand so they get what they want, when and how they want it with uncompromised quality and an experience that is almost as good as being there."

Venmundi.com is a portal, providing live and video on-demand content on the Internet for a price per event through laptops, Smartphones, tablets and home entertainment centers. Although the initial focus is on the entertainment industry, the possibilities are endless. VenMundi's patented process, includes the workflow and the documents that allow the artist, the venue and the viewer to participate in a VenMundi broadcast.

Barbra Higgins, COO, VenMundi adds, "We are excited to launch our company with this great partnership with Elvin Bishop. We know he has a dedicated following around the world, and while only 200 patrons will be in the theatre, through VenMundi's platform, thousands more can see and be part of the show. Comments from our recent test events indicate patrons are excited to have access to the music they love from the artists they have followed for years when, where and how they want it through VenMundi's unprecedented live and on-demand streaming capabilities."

VenMundi's patented process enables the uninterrupted transmission of the content, which by using our methodology is of the highest quality and manages the revenues and customer base in an efficient, accessible, easy-to-use format. Every aspect of the licensing and contractual complexities of the music and entertainment industry is addressed effectively. VenMundi is not only poised to be the de-facto destination for live entertainment on the web, but also the Internet equivalent of a lecture/seminar hall, auditorium, theater, stadium, fundraiser event, house of worship and much more.

Elvin Bishop comments, "We're doing a show at the Club Fox in December with VenMundi. They're really nice people and they do a great job. We'll be streaming our show on line and I'm really excited about getting involved in the new technologies."

Elvin Bishop's latest release "Elvin Bishop's Raisin' Hell Revue" (LIVE) is OUT NOW on Delta Groove Records! The live disc features Grammy winner's smash "Fooled Around and Fell in Love" along with blues standards, recorded live in the party atmosphere of the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise. CLICK TO PURCHASE.

Elvin Bishop's musical biography is no secret to anyone who has followed blues or rock over the past 40 years. Taken under wing by legendary bluesman Little Smokey Smothers in the '60s, Bishop found a wide audience as guitarist in the Paul Butterfield Blues Band and in the '70s scored a Top-10 radio hit with "Fooled Around and Fell in Love." Along the way, he's carved out a niche all his own, playing an appealing mix of rootsy rock 'n' roll, R&B and barroom boogie, steeped in the heavy blues he learned from Little Smokey all those years ago.

So when a bunch of close friends who also happen to be consummate musicians are sequestered together, as they were at sea on the 2010 Legendary Blues Cruise, what else were they to do but unite forces to create some truly exemplary music? Thankfully the tapes were rolling, and the musical experience was saved for posterity. Delta Groove Music will release the resultant Raisin' Hell Revue live album on May 17, 2011. And with the good vibes of a ship full of fellow music lovers to buoy the band, you can really hear that everyone was having a great time.

Over the course of their featured performance, Bishop shares the vocal mike with four hard-hitting pros: blues veteran Finis Tasby (Lowell Fulson, Freddie King, Clarence Carter, Z.Z. Hill), fast-rising harmonica man John Németh (Anson Funderburgh, Junior Watson), Norwegian blues guitar star Chris (Kid) Anderson (Charlie Musselwhite's band), and Bishop's long-time band-mate and Bay Area legend, saxophonist Terry Hanck. They work their way through a strutting, soulful set of blues and R&B with the powerful grace of a veteran working outfit, perfectly highlighting the strengths of everyone involved. And it really is a "revue" in the classic sense of the term — various band members representing a wide array of styles move in and out of the spotlight, all presided over by the good-humored and congenial master of ceremonies Elvin Bishop. We're treated to swinging up-tempo R&B, lowdown blues, rootsy rock 'n' roll, and a touch of gospel; even a fantastic reworking of Bishop's smash hit "Fooled Around and Fell in Love" is included featuring the wonderfully gifted and dynamic vocalist John Németh.
